Video of BBC’s Johnston ‘is six weeks old’

THE video released on Friday showing Alan Johnston, the BBC reporter kidnapped in Gaza, is six weeks old, according to Palestinian sources. Officials learnt of the film in April after Johnston’s captors, a splinter group called the Army of Islam, alerted media organisations in Gaza to expect footage of the captive.
