] - 19. Giugno 2007 - 5:13Vlastimir Djordjevic, an aide to the former Yugoslav leader Slobodan Milosevic, will appear in court in The Hague today to face charges of murder and persecution. Mr. Djordjevic, who was unexpectedly handed over to the war crimes tribunal on Sunday, had been living in Russia. He was arrested in Montenegro, where the police said he had arrived under a false identity. Mr. Djordjevic led Serbia’s security police during the 1999 Kosovo war. Prosecutors say he had a major role in deporting Kosovo Albanians. His arrest leaves four others on the run.
