China asks Japan for earthquake aid

China is turning to its former enemy Japan for help as it seeks to boost its relief operations following the deadly earthquake that has devastated the southwestern Sichuan province. The Japanese military is expected to fly in supplies, but its troops will not be allowed into the affected areas.
