Bangladesh parties demand release of ex-premiers

DHAKA (Reuters) - Bangladesh's two main political parties have demanded the release of their leaders, Sheikh Hasina and Begum Khaleda Zia, saying the move was necessary to ensure a free and fair election expected late next year.
