Pro-Taliban militants killed in Pakistan attack

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - Pakistani security forces killed three pro-Taliban militants on Monday in a tribal region near the Afghan border where troops were trying to rescue 16 paramilitary soldiers kidnapped last week, officials said.
